And with a new collaboration with world-class audio technology manufacturers Mobile Fidelity Electronics (MoFi), you can now play those records in your home the way the original artists intended.
The Fender x MoFi PrecisionDeck is a cutting-edge — and limited-edition — turntable that offers the highest performance in every way.
Not only did Fender Custom Shop Principle Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov design the shape, but the PrecisionDeck utilizes the same Ash wood, 3-Color Sunburst finish and treatments as the venerable Precision Bass® to give it a classic look ideal for any living room or studio.
Under the hood, the PrecisionDeck brings in design elements from MoFi, with innovations from the award-winning UltraDeck, including a pre-mounted MoFi MasterTracker cartridge.
“Having the opportunity to work with MoFi to bring this turntable to life has been a pleasure,” said Shishkov.
Limited to a run of only 1,000 units, the PrecisionDeck also features:
• A 10” Ultra tonearm with smooth, high-quality ball bearings for low friction in the vertical and horizontal planes, so you only hear what’s in the grooves.
• A stepped-pulley AC motor to provide excellent speed stability for pitch accuracy and rhythmic drive. Motor vibrations are kept away from the platter and stylus by using advanced dampening materials that decouple the motor from the rest of the turntable.
• An anti-vibration feet developed in conjunction with the engineering team at Harmonic Resolution Systems, the world leader in vibration isolation for audio equipment.
