Two of the most sought-after producers in the world, Andres Torres and Mauricio Rengifo have worked with the likes of Luis Fonsi, Justin Beiber, Demi Lovato and Sebastian Yatra.

Ever heard the worldwide smash (and Latin Grammy-winning) track “Despacito?” Yes, that was this powerhouse duo. So was Yatra’s Song of the Year candidate, “Un Año.” And that’s not to mention the bevy of other hits to their credit.

Hailing from Colombia, Andres and Mauricio eventually set up shop in Los Angeles and continue to take the pop and Latin music space by storm, with billions of streams, chart certifications and award nominations rolling in.

And while only they know how to create such magic again and again and again, they allowed cameras into L.A.’s Conway Studios to document the process of creating a brand-new song from scratch.

Starting out with a pair of American Acoustasonic Jazzmasters, Andres and Mauricio lay down a riff and a hook along with it before adding layers upon layers to craft a reggaeton-influenced track that is sure to light up both clubs and airwaves. As they bounce ideas off each other, they harness the full creative potential of the Acoustasonic Jazzmaster, using a full breadth of the acoustic and electric tones it offers.
