世界的に著名なセッション界の“エース”、マイケル・ランドウ。彼は、80年代初頭から数百以上のアルバムレコーディングに参加してきました。その中で、ほんの数例を挙げるとジョニ・ミッチェル、シール、マイケル・ジャクソン、ジェイムス・テイラー、BBキング、ピンク・フロイド、マイルス・デイヴィスがそうです。彼はまた、レイジング・ホーキンス、バーニング・ウォーター、最近ではロベン・フォードとのレネゲイド・クリエイションなど、多くのプロジェクトに参加してきました。さらに彼自身のグループではエレクトリックジャズ、インストゥルメンタル、ロックギターの要素を組み合わせた音楽を創り、今なお精力的に活動を続けています。

Michael Landau Signature 1968 Relic Stratocasterの仕様は、ランドウ所有の68年製Stratocasterに基づいています。ハンドセレクトされた軽量なアルダーボディ、"custom oval"のネックプロファイル、カスタムの手巻きピックアップと配線を採用。ボディに、ニトロセルロースラッカーの雰囲気がある3トーンサンバーストの塗装が施されています。その他に、7.25インチ（184.1ミリ）ラジアス、6105フレット採用のラウンドラミネート加工された、ダークなローズウッド指板を使用。この時代を象徴するラージヘッドストック、5ウェイピックアップスイッチ、カスタムのヴィンテージスタイルのトレモロブリッジを搭載しています。ギターケース、ストラップ、フェンダーカスタムショップの証明書が付属しています。
