ジョン・メイヤーのツアーに参加したことで知られるベーシスト、ショーン・ハーレイ。彼は、その他にリンゴ・スター、アニー・レノックス、ロビン・シック、アラニス・モリセット、バーティカル・ホライゾン、コルビー・キャレイといった、アーティスト達のスタジオベーシストとして活躍し、LAのシーンに足跡を残しました。ハーレイは、ジョン・メイヤーの『ボーン・アンド・レイズド』と『パラダイス・バレー』のレコーディングで、61年製Precision Bassを使用していました。

フェンダーカスタムショップは、ハーレイお気に入りのPrecision BassをSunburst、Olympic White、Charcoal Frostの3色で複製し、ラインナップしました。オリジナルベースを調べた時、彼が弦の響きを弱らせるために、ブリッジ前方下に詰め物をしていたので、我々はそれを発展させ、いつでも弦を簡単にミュートできる機構を設計しました。-これまでにないフェンダーベースでの機能です。
