The AutoVaughn in Seattle “just trying to help out?” video… the guys were out on the west coast helping out Fender again, this time playing at the Rhapsody Rocks Seattle show. Check it…
AutoVaughn’s guitarist Stephen Wilson gets his first chance to play around with the new G-DEC 3. There’s also some other highlights from the band’s 2010 Fender Showcase appearance.
We had a great trip out west for the NAMM convention. In between our shows at the Viper Room and Fender Showcase we got to hang out @ Venice beach and watch all the weirdos do their thing. We ate some delicious sushi, thai, and zenkous chicken. Got some new sunglasses and rocked testicles and ovaries as best as we could.
During the NAMM show we got to play around with all sorts of Fender guitars, amps, technologically advanced sound systems and even the new T-Mobile/Fender myTouch. Speaking of the Fender myTouch, we’ll be out in Seattle next week recording a show/promotion for that new phone. If you’re in Seattle come out to the show. It’s FREE. Feb. 16th. 8 PM. 21 and up. @ The Showbox. We’ll have more behind the scenes videos coming soon, like the one below from our trip out west.
Again, many thanks to the fine peeps at Fender for making it happen, and Chrissy @ Fender, we know you felt terrible asking us to do “just one more thing” about a dozen times, but we really didn’t mind. We love Fender.
Check out CW’s Vampire Diaries this Thursday night to hear music by AutoVaughn. Spoiler Alert – the song can be heard when a werewolf attacks two vampires as they make love with only the moonlight guiding their way.
AutoVaughn closed out the 2010 Fender Showcase in Anaheim, Calif., on Jan. 17 with double performances on the main stage. Watch the video of “A Million to One” and “Lower Your Weapons” on Fender Vision, and enjoy a few photos from the show below.

Hello world, AutoVaughn reporting in from Nashville where we’re finishing up the new album. Now in the final mixing stage, we get to witness Eric “Franchise” Fritsch pulling frequencies into their final resting spot.
We’re excited for Jordan over at Ginger Group Designs to do our new website. We’ll be set to go live in the next few weeks.
We recently finished a new photo shoot with Tamara McCray here in the ‘ville. Below are a few shots from that.

Look for the new album right around HanaChristmaKwanzadan. It’ll be the perfect stocking stuffer! At least that’s what we’re telling people.
Starting in January we’ll be releasing Rise to college radio stations all over the United States, and hitting the road to promote the album.
We’ll post a list of stations and tour dates soon.
The computer hard drive holding the video we shot during our recording sessions fried. So, no video this week but as promised, song #3 off our upcoming album, Rise, is available for a FREE download, exclusively atfender.com.
