Overview
The Artisan Maple Burl Stratocaster® is crafted with a striking combination of tone woods into a gorgeous new illustration of Fender Custom Shop style, tone and playability. Its hollow roasted ash body and 4A figured maple-burl top feature a luxurious figure and NOS lacquer finish. The 3A roasted birdseye maple neck has a 1960-style "oval-C" profile, topped by a Macassar ebony fingerboard with a compound radius (9.5"-12") and 21 narrow tall frets for ultimate comfort and playability.
Additional highlights include three hand-wound Fat '60s pickups with five-way switching and Strat® 1/2 Blender wiring (blends in the neck pickup in switch positions 1 and 2 for extra tonal options), Custom Shop Vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines with Fender logo, bone nut, and "wing" string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
