The Made in Japan series was derived by fusing Fender's traditional instrument-making aesthetics with sophisticated Japanese craftsmanship.

This beautiful Limited Edition Made in Japan Telecaster® Custom in Honeybee Yellow is a special model, equipped with 22 narrow-tall frets, 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard, "U"-shaped maple neck offering high playability and loaded with a Vintage-Style Single-Coil Tele® Pickup on the rear and a Fender® Wide Range Humbucker on the front. In addition, it is a limited model that has been made with attention to detail, such as a Vintage-Style Locking tuner that stabilizes tuning and makes it easy to change strings, and a 1 Ply Tortoiseshell pickguard.
