Over the course of his astonishing, near seventy-year career, the legendary Strat Cat Buddy Guy has become synonymous with the Chicago blues and remains a crucial link to the original sound pioneered by Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon and Howlin' Wolf. Renowned for his emotive and innovative mixture of blues, rock and soul tones, as well as his rollicking showmanship, Guy has played a crucial role in inspiring peers and acolytes ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Stevie Ray Vaughn to Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. Still slinging the blues today at 89, Buddy Guy is nothing less than the living embodiment of one of America's most storied cultural traditions. Thus it is our great privilege to have worked alongside this musical titan to create the Buddy Guy Standard Stratocaster, with features tailored to the great man's specifications, as well as his patented polka-dot design. BODY:
One of the most distinctive features of Guy’s Stratocaster is its polka-dot finish – a tribute to his mother’s personal style. For his signature model, the body is constructed out of alder and finished in striking black gloss polyester with head-turning white polka dots.
NECK:
Another distinguishing aspect of Guy’s signature Strat is the “soft V” neck profile, which allows for a comfortable fretting-hand feel. The satin-finished maple neck also includes a 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets.

ELECTRONICS:
This guitar comes loaded with three Fender Standard single-coil pickups with five-way switching so you can replicate Guy’s stinging electric blues sound with ease, as well as a range of tones that are ideal for any genre of music.
HARDWARE:
The Buddy Guy Standard Stratocaster includes stylish black plastic control knobs and a black switch tip, plus a 3-ply black pickguard that looks great alongside Guy’s iconic polka dots. It also includes a 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuning machines and a 4-bolt vintage-style neck plate.
OTHER FEATURES:
