From late-night and daytime sets to in-studio visits and digital exclusives, Fender in Focus gathers the best of the week's performances from Fender players.

This week: it's Børns, Franz Ferdinand, Fall Out Boy and Lo Moon.

Børns: "Faded Heart"

Garrett Borns - a.k.a. Børns - stopped by the New York studios of WFUV to promote his latest album, Blue Madonna, wiht the infectious single "Faded Heart." Playing a Paramount PM-1 Dreadnought, the frontman delivered the indelible hook in his trademark falsetto while accompanied by guitarist Connor Doyle on his American Professional Jazzmaster.

Franz Ferdinand: "Always Ascending"

Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand are back with a new album called Always Ascending, and they stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to wow the audience with the soaring title track. Check out frontman Alex Kapranos playing his well-worn Fender Telecaster Deluxe.

Fall Out Boy: "Hold Me Tight or Don't"

Guitarist Joe Trohman got in on the Telecaster Deluxe action, too, as he and his Fall Out Boy bandmates rocked The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The group pulled out the anthemic single "Hold Me Tight or Don't," offering an explosive performance that was heavy on gutiars. And of course, bassist Pete Wentz was keeping the low-end in check with his Precision Bass.

Lo Moon: "This Is It"

Los Angeles trio Lo Moon made waves on late-night television with their recent performance of the ethereal single "This Is It." The weighty appearance featured gutiarist Samuel Stweart playing a grove-indusing Jazzmaster, while bassist Crisanta Baker had her Mustang Bass in tow.
