Comp Rules

Fender® G.B.I. Online Competition Rules

These rules apply to all competitions entered via this website. Each competition is run by Fender Musical Instruments Europe Ltd, whose registered office is at Hill House, 1 Little New Street, London, EC4A 3TR, UK (“Fender”).

The Prize
The prize(s) will be as stated on the competition page of this site (“the Prize”). There is no cash or other alternative and the Prize is not transferable. Prizes which do not comprise goods may only be used by the Prize winner in person unless specified and may not be resold, used in raffles or auctions. Unless specified, winners will be responsible for their own travel to events.

Eligibility
This competition is open only to persons in the European Union, excluding employees of Fender and related companies, and their families, as well as representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may be involved with the competition. All entrants must be eighteen years or older.

How to Enter
Entrants must answer the specified question(s) and submit as directed. Only one entry per person is permitted, to be determined by email address. Multiple or repeat entries will be rejected. Online entries only will be accepted.

Closing date
The closing date for receipt by Fender of entries is 11.59pm UK time on the date specified on the competition page and any entries received after that time shall be rejected. Fender shall in no circumstances be liable for the failure of an electronic entry to be received by Fender by the closing date whether or not such failure is connected to the entrant’s e-mail system, Fender’s e-mail system, the interface between the two systems and/or any other cause whatsoever.

The Draw and Winner Notification
The winning entries will be selected at random by Fender from all eligible entries with the correct answer and the Prize winner(s) will be notified by email within 7 days. Prize winners will be notified using the email address supplied to enter the competition, and where a Prize winner does not confirm receipt of notification within 7 days, Fender reserves the right to draw a substitute winner and the original winner will forfeit the Prize. The judge's decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into. A list of the winners will be posted on Fender’s website.

Delivery
Prizewinners will be asked to supply their postal address for receipt of the Prize. Fender reserves the right to verify the eligibility of a Prizewinner before the Prize is awarded. Entrants providing incorrect, inaccurate or fraudulent information will be disqualified and the Prize awarded may be forfeited at Fender’s discretion.

Fender’s Liability
Fender is not liable in the event of unavailability of any Prize or any part thereof or for other matters beyond its control, nor is it liable to any Prizewinner for any cancellation, or any delay, loss, damage, distress or inconvenience connected with the Prize, to the greatest extent that it is possible to exclude such liability under law. Fender shall not be responsible for any misadventure or other consequence that results from the Prizewinner accepting the Prize. Prizewinners are subject to any applicable venue rules and regulations.

Publicity
Prizewinners agree to participate in any publicity required.

Data Protection
In submitting an entry to the competition, entrants agree to the data protection and other provisions set out in the Data Protection & Privacy Notice for use of their information in accordance with these competition rules.
