Updating Firmware on your Squier® Strat® Guitar with USB and iOS Connectivity

To update firmware on your Squier® Strat® Guitar with USB and iOS Connectivity, please follow the instructions that match your computer's operating system software.


Updating firmware on your Squier® Strat® with Mac OS X:
1. Download and install the Fender Firmware Updater. Please see "Related Downloads" below.
2. Once installed, launch the Fender Firmware Updater
3. The current firmware build is bundles with the Firmware Updater for the Mac OS.
4. Press the Update button to begin the firmware update process.

Once the Firmware Updater completes the update, your Squier® Strat® Guitar with USB and iOS Connectivity should be ready to use.


Updating firmware on your Squier® Strat® with Windows OS:
1. Download and install the Fender Firmware Updater and current firmware build. Please see "Related Downloads" below.
2. Once installed, launch the Fender Firmware Updater
3. Then navigate to the firmware file you downloaded and select it via the Browse button in the Firmware Updater.
4. Once you have selected the firmware file, press the Update button in the Firmware Updater window to begin the firmware update process.

Once the Firmware Updater completes the update, your Squier® Strat® Guitar with USB and iOS Connectivity should be ready to use.
