My Fender G-DEC 3 is behaving strangely. What should I do?
Check the Software & Firmware Downloads section of the Fender G-DEC 3 support site and download the latest firmware update for your Fender G-DEC 3.
There are two ways to update the firmware, either through Fender® FUSE™ or from the Fender G-DEC 3 unit itself.
Updating the firmware through Fender FUSE:
- Download the file containing the latest Fender G-DEC 3 firmware here.
- Open Fender FUSE and choose Utilities -> Update Firmware.
- Select the firmware file.
- Check your Fender G-DEC 3’s screen for update progress.
Updating the firmware from the Fender G-DEC 3 front panel:
- Download the file containing the latest Fender G-DEC 3 firmware here.
- Copy the file to an SD card.
- With the Fender G-DEC 3 powered off, insert the SD card into the unit.
- Power the unit on and follow the on-screen instructions.
