Returns & Exchanges

You may return anything purchased from the Fender Online Store for an exchange or a refund (except for used accessories and parts!), within 30 days of receipt, if you are not completely satisfied.

All returns must have prior authorization and must have a valid RA (Return Authorization) number printed on the returns shipping label.

Return shipping charges are your responsibility; unless the return results from an error on our part (i.e. you received a wrong, defective or damaged product, in which case, we will send you a Return Shipping Label free of charge).

Merchandise must be returned in its original box or packaging.

If for any reason you wish to return an item and need to obtain a Return Authorization (RA), please call the Fender Consumer Relations Department at 800-856-9801 or 480-596-7195, or e-mail us at . Please be prepared to supply your Invoice Number, Order Number or Delivery Number as well as the name on, and the credit card used in, the transaction.

Return Procedure

  1. Upon receiving your Return Authorization (RA) number from Fender Consumer Relations, simply fill out the Returns, Exchanges & Refunds sheet that accompanied your order explaining why you are making the return, and detach the shipping label portion.
  2. Box up your merchandise in its original packaging with the returns sheet enclosed and the shipping label attached, and send it back to us, postage paid, using the shipping label that is located at the bottom of the returns sheet. It's that easy!
  3. If you no longer have your returns sheet/shipping label, click here to download one.

Once we have received your returned item(s), we will process your request in a timely fashion. If you have indicated that you wish to make an exchange or need a replacement, we will initially provide a credit for the original order, then create a new order and charge your credit card again.

Exchanges and replacements are subject to product availability. If the item is no longer available or if you do not find an item of equal value that is acceptable to you as a replacement, we will issue a credit to the card account used in the initial transaction.

All items purchased from the Fender.com Online Store are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. You may return anything purchased from us (except used parts!) within 30 days of receipt if you are not completely satisfied. Depending upon product availability, we will exchange or replace it with another item of equal value (excluding American Design Experience products). If you just don't like it or it's not what you expected, simply return it and we will credit your credit card. We do not want you to have to keep anything from the Fender.com Online Store with which you are not completely satisfied.

How to Order

Ordering online from the Fender.com Online Store is easy! Simply choose the items you wish to purchase and add them, individually, to your shopping cart. Each time you add an item, you'll be able to view the entire contents of your cart with a total dollar amount purchased so far. When you are ready to checkout, click the checkout button and proceed to the secure checkout area.

When ordering online, your credit card is not charged until your order ships.

Please note that this does not apply to American Design Experience orders. As ADE instruments are built to order, all ADE purchases will be processed when your order is placed.

International Orders

While we appreciate your interest, at this time we are only able to accept orders from, and ship to, customers in the USA. Just so you know, most items featured in the Fender.com Online Store may also be purchased from the local Fender dealer in your country or region. Please contact the Fender Distributor in your territory or region for help finding a stocking dealer in your area.

Pricing, Payment & Sales Tax

All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Most items are priced at the U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (USMSRP). If an item is priced lower than the USMSRP, the USMSRP will be indicated under the photo of the item for your reference. Some items exclusive to the Fender.com Online Store have no USMSRP.

We currently accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards for online purchases. If you order through our secure online shopping cart, we do not charge your credit card until the date we ship your merchandise to you.

Please note that this does not apply to American Design Experience orders and Major League Baseball® guitars. Payment for all ADE and MLB purchases will be processed when your order is placed.

All orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping.

Local sales tax is applicable in most U.S. States. Sales tax is calculated at the local tax rate of the shipping address.

At the Fender.com Online Store, we offer FREE SHIPPING for internet orders $49.99 and over to the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses, and PO Boxes. For orders that do not qualify for free shipping, we are pleased to offer our online customers very competitive shipping rates and services as outlined below. Although most online orders are processed and deliver within 3 to 9 business days, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.

Back Orders

In an effort to serve you better and avoid confusion, we are currently processing orders for only those items that are in-stock, and ready to ship to your door (excluding American Design Experience instruments, as they are built to order).

How will you know if your item is in stock? It's easy! If the item you are interested in is in stock, you may place it in your shopping cart and continue to Check Out. If the item is out of stock and not available for purchase, an “Out Of Stock” flag will appear with the product and you will not be able to place it into your cart.

American Design Experience and MLB instruments will be shipped upon completion.
