True, this print of a 1950s Telecaster patent drawing alone makes for pretty cool artwork, but then dig the Telecaster frame it comes in—itself a distinctive Fender objet d’art. Made from alder, just like many of the actual instruments.

TELE BODY FRAME WALL ART

(5.0)
patakyed on May 31, 2013 (updated June 4, 2013)
Amateur Blues Rock Classic Rock Country

This is pretty cool! The outline of the cutout has three patent drawings from 1951 of the Tele inside. It's really well made, and I think it has an acrylic cover. The craftsmanship is also really good. BTE - it's pretty big - 15 1/4 by 25 inches, and about an inch and a half deep, but not too heavy. It already has the wall hanging teeth on the back, and is ready to mount on the wall. I bought both the Strat and Tele, and they look great in the house. If you like Strats and Teles, these are for you. You'll be glad you splurged on this - I know I am. They are really cool!
