This is a great guitar. The workmanship is excelent. No sharp fret edges, and lovely maple neck.

The name Classic Vibe is a perfect fit. It has the looks of a Blackguard Tele. I have had many Teles and this may be the best one. I recently set up a vintage 1960 Tele for a friend and I couldn't get it to play any better than the CV. The CV has a flatter radius so it is easier to get a lower action. However, it didn't sound quite as good as the '60, but comes close enough considering the price of the CV. The stock pickups sound very good though. The real alnico magnets give it a true vintage sound. I've had mine for about two years and it's starting to age a bit and developing its own character. The vintage tint of the neck when new looked a bit orange, but seems to have ambered some with age. The pinewood finish resembles ash and has a very resonate sound. The finish doesn't appear to be too thick so it may contribute to the resonance. It weighs about 7 1/2 lbs so it's heavy enough to feel like your playing something without it actually being too heavy. Some reviewers say their examples are heavy so I guess the weight varies, just be aware that pine will dent more easily. The tuners are the vintage type with the split shaft, which are one of my favorites. Just cut the string to length, insert into the hole in center of the string post and tune. No sharp string end will be sticking out. They even used a vintage style string tree which was a nice little touch. I also own a Classic Vibe Tele Custom and two CV '50s Strats, which are all nice guitars. I own a lot of high end guitars for investment purposes but with this quality and for the price you could spend a lot more for little to no benefit, maybe only for bragging rights.
I own this guitar for 2 months after a friend had bought one... He told me how close it was to a custom shop one...
I was sceptic about his review until tried one in a store... I owned alreday an american special one... Could you believed it? I solded the American special and bought the Squier and wow, this was a really good move!! I have a more attractive looking guitar ( this thing is the most beautiful instrument I've ever had!) and got a 400$ extra in my pocket to buy whisky and beers. The neck of this instrument is a dream... The only thing I had to get used to it is the pickups tone... much tiner than my previous american special but once plugged in my really good Princeton reverb reissue, i started to get tones I'd always dreamed of... In fact, this baby is more value than a american vintage Jaguar, I tried those back to back and prefers the vibe and playability of the Squier Tele classic vibe... wow, amazing job by chinese people!!

I will admit, I don't own this guitar. However, I have been able to play several times, and I must say, it beat every other tele I've ever played. The tone is rich and beautiful, and the finish is my type of style. The guitar sounds good for all types of music, from blues to rock to country. The pick ups were surprisingly good. I would recommend this guitar to anyone, and I hope to own it myself someday.
I got this guitar after a 12 year break from playing. I was amazed that a budget guitar could be that good - no where near the budget guitars I saw in the 90's. I bought it just to have a cheap guitar laying around and play in my spare time, but ended up recording an entire album with this guitar.

This is an outstanding instrument for no money at all basicly. Im just in awe and blown away by this guitar.. It looks, sounds, feels and plays just perfect. I've neen looking for a tele for my collection of guitars and i've tried and played several american made, been trying the new american vintage '52 but i gotta say that this SQUIER suits my tastes better. I never thought that i would ever buy a squier.. And fall in love with it!
I just cant believe how good this guitar acctually is. Completly changed my view of squier as a brand.

What a great guitar this is. I paid approx. $350.00. Worth more than that frankly. The fit and finish are great. I really like the glossy finish on the neck. Great sound and tone from the pick ups. The neck is great and the fret work is very good. I had it professionally set up like I do all my guitars. I feel like the frets are a little on the soft side due to the wear I see after approximately a year. This is a great value!

This CV BSB is absolutely a great guitar. It amazes me how well it plays and sounds at a value that is unbeatable. I purchased in Guitar Center downtown Boston when I went there on business. I wanted a memento of a productive week of research at the JFK Library. This guitar has turned out to be much more than that. It's a guitar that will get heavy use in my Fender heavy stable. I A/B'd the guitar with a Fender 52 AVRI, and sorry, but the Squier actually won hands down in every way, perhaps except for the general appearance, which is a bit extra glossy for my tastes. But for the sound of the pickups and the feel of the neck,I was stunned. No one should shy away from this instrument just because it doesn't have the full fledged Fender name on the headstock. I love this guitar.

In terms of playability and attention to detail this is the best tele I have played, including many more expensive ones (as well as - in my opinion the 60s classic vibe). In terms of tone, the bridge pickup is just shy of perfect, while the neck pickup is simply beautiful!
I bought it at Manson's guitar shop, and it was beautifully set up by the techs. It tunes beautifully, though the tuners are a bit fast - I guess this is due to them being made to resemble the original ones.
The finish is what it is supposed to be - a vintage reissue - but thankfully it is not called a reissue, or I would not be able to afford it. I have to say it is a fascinating guitar - the one piece body just resonates. My one gripe is that the finish had come of at the edge, but I must have dinged it unawares.
