Squier® brings you a brand-nu signature model in the crushing form of the Squier Jim Root Telecaster®. Designed in cooperation with the acclaimed Slipknot/Stone Sour guitarist, it boasts several foreboding features, most notably a satin-matte finish in black or white, starkly simple single-knob/single switch control layout, black die-cast tuners and other black hardware, and two pulverizing passive humbucking pickups with black covers.
Other features include a mahogany body, modern C-shaped maple neck with satin matte finish, 12”-radius rosewood Fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and parchment dot inlays, three-way pickup switch with black tip, single-ply pickguard (black on white body; white on black body), black numbered volume knob, and strings-through-body six-saddle hard-tail bridge.

Even if you don't play metal, this is a perfect guitar! If you want to intonate it in e standard, it will still sound amazing! It is very all-around.

Really good guitar. Great tone and looks and feels really good in the hand,
the Squier can quite easily stand toe to toe with the Fender.
The price of this guitar makes it a huge bargain, you get so much more guitar than you pay for.
I would say to anyone looking at this guitar, buy it!

I can't belive there's much difference between this version and the Fender version except for the electronics of course. The build quality is superb as well as the playability. The guitar is a bargain. You get more guitar than you pay for, for sure.
