I purchased this guitar as I am going to do a band reunion has been 25 years . My group plays old classic rock n roll When I quit playing I owned a Fender Telecaster. I was out shopping and wanted to purchase a guitar that was like my guitar of old. This is it!! I love this guitar right off the rack Only thing I did was to lower the action to meet my comfort. I would and do recommend this guitar series to everyone. For the amount it cost you can not go wrong. It is absolutely awesome If it were a blind fold test it would be hard to tell what model or series Telecaster this is. I am sure this guitar will out last me. I then hope it is handed down to grandchildren so they have a chance to make some greta memories as well. Squire this is a wonderful guitar GREAT JOB !!!!

Wonderful workhorse guitar for pennies

Semi-Professional Jazz Folk

These Chinese-made Classic Vibes are all good, but this one is my favourite. Woods are spot on: an amazingly straight-grained maple for the neck and alder - with a bit of character - for the body. Neck profile is midway between the 52 and something very modern. Fit and finish are flawless: heavy chrome and high gloss. Components are good enough: I've upgraded to Wilkinson saddles in the bridge and I might replace the machine heads as they feel a little imprecise. There's also the possibility of me going all Andy Summers and putting a PAF in the neck. But, actually, this sounded great from the moment I picked it up.

For the money, I'd challenge anyone to find a better workhorse guitar. And this holds its own against the Japanese and Korean models, maybe even the American models, that Fender wants to you to buy.

The reason it's got only three stars under features is not because there is anything wrong with it, but because it's a Tele: features are not what you buy a Tele for.

This is a keeper. I intend to play the hell out of it and then happily pass it on to my daughters and grandkids. It'll out last them.

I Am Proud To Own This One!

I purchased one of these Vibe Custom Telecasters over a year ago. The feel and playability, quality, and look of this guitar was awesome! I loved the fact that it came with the rosewood fingerboard too. I was looking for a Telecaster to modify, hot rod, and put a Bigsby B-5 on it. This Squier Vibe beat out an American Tele and a Mexican Tele at the time. I immediately did the following to this awesome guitar: Installed a new handcut real bone nut, installed new larger white pearl side-dots on the side of the neck (originals are too small, and the amber clear over them makes them hard to see), I replaced the pickguard with an black one (American ones fit perfectly with no holes needing to be relocated), and put a set of Barden pickups in it, and upgraded the pots to CTS 250K's, new Fender 3-way switch, and Electrosocket jack mount and a Switchraft jack, added shielding paint, a star ground, etc. This guitar is so sweet now that it was chosen to be on the Bigsby site, and has been there for over a year. If you hover over the pictures you will find it, it's the one that Deb Hart pops up when you're over it. The pickup and electronic upgrades made this guitar a pro-player guitar, and the quality and feel of this thing is stellar! I love this guitar and am proud to own it! I've liked it so much, I bought the Strat version recently. You just can't go wrong buying one of these! They are a deal and they perform as well as much higher priced options, right out of the box! Bone stock they are sweet! You really need to go play one, and buy one today--no kidding! Thanks Fender!
