The Super-Sonic series: High-performance, no-nonsense tube amps that create unmistakable Fender clean tones and expressive modern high-gain tones without masking the tonal character of the player’s guitar. The new 100-watt Super-Sonic Twin combo contains several sonically versatile new features, including an Arena/Club switch that takes the power down to 25 watts (to preserve its great high-volume tube tone at lower “club gig” volume levels); a Notch Tune control that lets you move the midrange notch and fine-tune the distortion characteristics for a variety of American and British amp sounds; a rear-panel damping control that lets you select “normal,” “loose” or “tight” speaker response for sounds ranging from warm and loose to tight and focused; and the new Fender Automatic Bias control, which lets you easily set the output tubes to the recommended factory setting and to your preference of “hotter” or “cooler” bias with no need for meters or tools.
Other features include a Vintage channel for shimmering clean tone derived from Fender Twin Reverb® and Showman® amps or the thick, punchy sound of a 1960s-era Bassman amp®; a Burn channel for edgy breakup and distortion with variable compression, thickness and sustain; dual 12” Celestion® Vintage 30 speakers; tube-driven Fender long-spring reverb; effects loop with level control that also works as a footswitch-operated boost; custom Schumacher transformers; and a choice of Black/Silver or Blonde/Oxblood cosmetic treatments. Cover and pedalboard-friendly four-button footswitch included.

This amp has it all. I've had this amp for almost 3 months now and cannot get enough of playing it. You have two channels the first being a clean vintage channel and the second being a very fine saturated crunch channel with full equalizing adjustments for just about any kind of sound you could want. My favorite though is channel one which has a very clean fine quality "vintage fender tone" that cannot be duplicated with any other kind of amp. There are no limits with this amp being that it contains two very high quality sounding Celestion Vintage 30 12" speakers and packing 100 watts of power. Even though this amp is expensive in my opinion it is well worth the money and you cannot go wrong with it. I've always been a big fan of Fender amplifiers and this one is definitely their flagship.

For the old analogy, if I was stuck on a desert island with one amp this would be it. I have amps with crunch and chime but this is hands down my favorite amp. For classic rock, southern rock, blues and even folk this amp delivers. It takes pedals really well plus it has tons of tonal options built in. I can drop all the way down to bedroom levels and still get over driven sounds without breaking windows or upsetting the neighbors. When you want to get loud you can still get the wall shaking volume that made you want a twin to begin with.
I love the salt & pepper cosmetics - I only wish it had the same knobs that came on my super Sonic 60
