Super-Sonic™ amplifiers are powerful tools for guitarists to create glorious Fender clean and overdriven tones and expressive modern high-gain distortion…in one no-nonsense amp.
The Super-Sonic™ 22 Head offers the exact same feature set of our popular combo version, which is built on the classic Deluxe Reverb® power platform. This toneful mid-powered head mates well with our Super-Sonic™ 212 enclosure or other quality 8 Ohm speaker cabinets.
Offered in classic Black/Silver or iconic 1961 Blonde/Oxblood cosmetic treatment; both versions include ivory "radio" knobs and flowing 1960s script logo.

I spent months trying out different Heads and Combos but kept coming back to this one. Hands down the sounds capable from the two channels on this Amp are the most versatile I have heard and played through on one amp - I use this with a super-sonic 60 212 speaker cabinet .
The clean channel is classic Fender with a great mid boost from the fat switch giving ample punch for soaring blues solos. The Burn channel with the dual gain controls is capable of sounds from gentle break up to creamy Eric Johnson tones.
Great layout on the front panel and very usable 4 button foot switch which controls the channel switching - fat switch - Reverb and effects loop allowing me to control my effects pedals from one compact unit. This amplifier makes you want to keep picking up your guitars all day and night and sounds perfect with both my Stratocaster and Telecaster.
The master Volume on the burn channel is great for bedroom levels and has enough volume for most gigging situations. If your looking for an amplifier that bridges the gap from great sparkling cleans to jaw dropping sustain this is the one.
