Great guitar.. Not over the top Relic'd, very tastefully done.. Needed a little tweaking out of the box but after I put 10s on it (came with 9s), lowered the action this guitar was a great buy.. The Texas Special pickups are pretty hot, but they have that unmistakeable quack we all love about Strats.. The tuners on High E and B on the guitar I got aren't that great, it takes a half turn to change pitch, I'll be swapping them out anyway so I'm not too upset, also, the frets stick out of the neck edge just a tad too much for my liking but this may change over time as it acclimates to the humidity in my house .. I have all American Strats, dating back 30+ years and this Mexican Strat is up to par with them.. My new favorite axe!
