    LEARN MORE

Fender introduces its first ever multi-effects unit in the form of the Mustang Floor-a versatile high-performance floor unit that delivers pro-level amp modeling, effects and artist preset sounds in a richly varied wealth of musical styles. And you don't have to be a tech expert to use the Mustang Floor-it's easy to use right out of the box.

A natural offshoot of our Mustang series amplifiers (basically a Mustang amp without the power amp and speaker), the Mustang Floor is designed for a variety of applications, only one of which is a great multi-effects unit for any basic guitar amp that puts more than three dozen digital effects at your feet. It's also a modeling preamp with low-impedance speaker-emulated outputs for running direct to a PA system, a modeling preamp with line-level outputs for use with a power amp and speakers, a silent practice system with stereo headphone output and auxiliary input perfect for playing along with an iPod or other media player, and a fantastic tone machine for direct-to-digital USB recording.

Mustang Floor features include nine footswitches and a solid aluminum treadle-style control pedal, intuitive Mustang III control panel and LCD window, 12 amp models, 37 effects, 100 onboard factory and user presets, "individual stompbox" mode in which amp models can be bypassed, headphone output and auxiliary input, dual XLR and dual 1/4" line outputs with level control (outputs can be programmed for optimal response with PA system, power amp or guitar amp), chromatic tuner, and easy USB connectivity for high-quality low-latency audio output and interface with free Fender FUSE™ application. Fender FUSE™ software, included as a free download, offers on-screen parameter control, deep editing, "hidden" parameters, unlimited preset storage, easy firmware upgrades and additional free content from Fender, Fender artists and other users worldwide. Additional control available with optional EXP-1 pedal.

WHAT'S NEW TO V.2?

With the new Mustang V.2 series you can now access five additional amp models, five new stompboxes, and pitch shifting when you connect your amp to Fender Fuse.

Control Panel

Mustang runs from a very simple control interface, which includes gain, volume, treble, bass, master, preset select, modulation select, delay/reverb select, save button, exit button, tap tempo button - all easily navigated.

MUSTANG™ I & MUSTANG™ II amplifier modeling preset controls

Amp Modeling

Mustang™ I and II contain 17 highly accurate onboard amp models, including five new amplifiers, with tones from vintage Fender® sparkle to outrageous modern metal distortion. Easily connect to your computer to access additional amp models.

Mustang I and II sound great at any volume, and although they’re the smallest members of the family, their closed-back cabinets and Fender Special Design speakers pump serious volume. The 20-watt Mustang I and the 40-watt Mustang II are great for practice and jam sessions. An 1/8” headphone jack lets you play loud, even if only for yourself.

Connect Mustang to your computer with free Fender® FUSE™ software. Open up a world of possibilities, including on-screen parameter control, deep editing, additional effects, unlimited preset storage, online preset swapping with the Fender® FUSE™ community, and free Fender artist presets.

Modulation Effects

Mustang further sculpts your sound with 12 sweeping, swooping and shimmering adjustable modulation effects, including chorus, phaser, flanger, vibratone, tremolo, step filter and pitch shifter. Use your computer to add more effects, too.

Delay / Reverb Effects

Mustang makes the room resound with 12 easily adjustable delay and reverb effects ranging from subtle to cavernous, including tape delay, stereo/mono delay and room/plate/hall reverb.

Mustang I and II each have 24 effects controlled by two simple selection knobs on the control panel. The first knob (“MOD”) controls 12 modulation effects; the second (“DLY/REV”) controls 12 delay/reverb effects.

Connect your amp to Fender Fuse for additional modulation, delay, and reverb effects.

The MOD and DLY/REV knobs share the same three selection indicator LEDS. These LEDS are numbered 1, 2, and 3, and they correspond to the three positions within each of the selection ranges, labeled A, B, C and D on each knob (see the Mustang I/II manual for a table listing the effects selection for each knob). Use the LEDs to determine exactly which position the knob is pointing to (using the factory settings of the “MOD” knob, for example, position 1 in the A selection range gives you chorus, position 2 in the A selection range gives you deep chorus, and position 3 in the A selection range gives you flanging).

Adjusting the effects levels on Mustang I and II couldn’t be easier—simply hold down the “EXIT” button while turning the “MOD” or “DLY/REV” knobs. Doing this adjusts “how much” of a particular effect you’ll get, according to your personal preference.

TWO-BUTTON FOOTSWITCH
0080997000

Connect a 2-button footswitch to your Mustang amplifier (included with the Mustang III, optional equipment for the Mustang IV & V) to enable remote multi-function foot control. Use the Utility menus to assign one of the following functions to the 2-button footswitch:

Select presets (up/down)
Select Quick Access presets (QA1/QA2)
Bypass effects (various combinations)
Set TAP interval

Included with the Mustang III

FOUR-BUTTON FOOTSWITCH
0080996000

Connect a 4-button footswitch to your Mustang amplifier (included with the Mustang IV & V, optional equipment for the Mustang III) to enable remote multi-function foot control. The footswitch display and LEDs show you some of the same information as the amplifier screen, so you can, for example, tune your guitar and select presets by watching the footswitch without ever looking at the screen onboard the Mustang!

Select Quick Access presets (QA1/QA2/QA3)
Select presets (up/down/bank)
Bypass effects
Activate the Tuner

Included with the Mustang IV & V

SIX-BUTTON FOOTSWITCH OPTIONS

Plug both a 4-button and a 2-button footswitch into your Mustang amplifier to expand your remote control options. By assigning different functions to each footswitch you can create more than a dozen different foot control combinations.

For example, you could assign Quick Access presets to the 4-button footswitch and Up/Down presets to the 2-button footswitch. Or you could bypass effects with the 4-button footswitch and select presets with the 2-button footswitch. The choice is up to you.

TUNER MODE
Press and hold the MODE button to activate the Tuner. The screen and the footswitch both will display the same tuner information so that you can look in either place to tune your guitar. The footswitch will display the nearest note; the button LEDs will indicate sharp and flat and "in tune" is indicated when the green LED below the footswitch display lights up.

Press any footswitch button to exit Tuner mode.

Only available on the Four-Button Footswitch
