The banjo I picked after trying everything in its price range!

I wanted a banjo that had more tone than twang, but as I tried many models the sound was the most important quality. Since purchasing it, I've met several professional players that have one of these models in their collection, including one player that plays with Allison Krause. I personally have put heavier strings on it, a submerged rosewood bridge, and plan on putting a heavier head on it, all in the effort to enhance the beautiful tone that it already has. People tell me all the time when hearing me play that it sounds like I have an amplifier attached. I love this thing and would compare it to Gibson or Deering offerings that cost many times the price, matter of fact, I wouldn't trade it for any of those products! 5 years owning it, and I have never wanted for another banjo for any reason.
