Fender nashville tele review

Bought this guitar brand new in 2011, in candy apple red with a rosewood fretboard, for me it's one of the best mexican fenders, it's feels like a usa made, all the parts of the guitar are quality, it holds it's tune really well, the finish is flawless and the pickups and switchgear is amazing, it is so useful having the strat middle tex mex pickup and a 5 way statotone pickup selector, plugged into a good amp you can get both strat and tele sounds, also it sounds amazing through a fender twin with reverb/vibrato, this guitar is ideal for country playing and indie/britpop style twangy sounds, it's not so good for heavier stuff but if you're looking at buying one of these I doubt that's what you often play. if I bought one again I would probably go for one with a maple fretboard for abit more snap, but it's a great guitar either way.

Semi-Professional Blues R&B Jazz Rock Country

I bought my Nashville in 2002 with a black paint job and maple fret board. I have changed out all the pickups since then. I put a Dimarzio twang king in the bridge, a '96 American strat pickup in the middle and a Rio Grande tall boy in the neck. After 11 years of heavy playing it is ready for the frets to be re-leveled but still playable. I'm at home with my Nashville in hand and I hope to never sale it .

My first fender I ever purchased new. I have always wanted a tele just for its looks and on my first visit to the us I got myself one after checking out different tele s all day. My final choice ended up with a Mexican made one because it sounded best.
I really liked the 3 pick configuration making this an all-around axe.
I am thinking of getting a new one again since i sold this one after a few years making a nice buck on it due to a good exchange rate and the important price difference betweeen the us & europe. Though I now regret my sale.
The candy red finish was impeccable, sounds good and certainly value for price

Two Guitars

Amateur Blues Classic Rock Country

This is a great guitar that acts like two different guitars.
There's that great Tele sound then when you need it there's that great Strat tone on the center pickup.
It's one of the guitars my friends pick up to play and are surprised at how good it sounds then won't put it down.
