I am a father of 8....That being said, money is tight. I would like to thank Fender for producing an affordable kick butt instrument for the average guy! When most of the boys are finished with higher learning, I'm looking forward to an American version!
P.S. Hope it's close to this baby!

I would like to congratulate Fender. Always dreamed of having a Fender bass, was in doubt between the Jazz and Precision Bass Jazz Bass and ended up getting one. I am very satisfied. Fender, I would like to thank you for the beautiful work being done over all these years.
I have owned this bass since 2007 and it is the main instrument that I play. I bought it as a replacement/upgrade for the Squier P-Bass that I had been playing. The thing I really like about this bass is the versatile tones that you can achieve with the pickup blend and the built in preamp. I do wish that it had an active/passive switch on it, though, for more vintage sounding tones. I have used this bass mostly in playing music at a church where we play music that draws inspiration from a variety of different musical genres, and I have always been happy with the way this bass has fit into all the styles I play. I do have to say that the noiseless pickups on this bass still pick up a lot of interference from outside sources like lights and other electrical equipment, but it is only noticeable when I am not playing. It might be because my bass has some of the earlier generation of the noiseless pickups, and I have been told that they have been improved and are more noiseless in the newer models. Overall I would say that it was probably one of the best investments in a musical instrument I have ever made.
