There are several things I like about this guitar. First of all, it emulates pretty accurately the tone of a plugged-in acoustic guitar - I haven't heard a piezoelectric pickup that sounds better or closer to the real thing. It's also nice to have a variety of tones to choose from when it comes to the acoustic playing (there are 4 for instance, ranging from the pretty bright dreadnought to the very warm and hollow jumbo).
Another interesting feature is the possibility to plug in your guitar in stereo with the electric signal going one way and the acoustic the other way. You can then combine both sounds simultaneously by using the middle position in the pickup selector or using just one of them by selecting any other position.
Nevertheless there are too some things I regret. First of all, to attain this fabulous acoustic tone you have to sacrifice a lot of playability. The action is pretty high just as it would be on an acoustic guitar, and the instrument is adjusted and designed to be played with pretty thick strings and a wound g string. Frets are pretty wide too. All of this compromises a lot of playability. It is not your regular go-to-shred guitar, then again, it's not meant to be either.
On the other hand, all of this acoustic ramble is a handicap to the electric side of the guitar too. The electric pick up sounds fantastic, but you only have a neck pick up so it is not the best suited guitar for distortion or heavier playing. I miss a little bit more versatility on this point. It's sad to have a telecaster and not being able to attain the country-ish tone you get on a normal telecaster in the middle position. However it does have the potential to achieve a great clean tone on the electric side of equation.
In all I think it is a great guitar for acoustic/melodic blues, bluegrass or folk playing, even for jazz, but i wouldn't recommend it in other styles because of it's limitations. It is a very original and unique guitar, beautifuly crafted and with great possibilities but it will never be my first choice instrument for regular playing. I think it suits me best as a back-up choice to change the mood at a certain point and surprise the audience, but it's not as useful or handy as your regular telecaster/stratocaster.
