One of the biggest advantages of version Head of Fender Super Sonic 60 amp compared to version Combo is the opportunity to use different speaker cabinets that the compressed Jensen P10R 10"; AlNiCo speakers that comes with the vintage combo amps (Vibrolux and Bassman voices). You choose the speakers you want to define your tone and I prefer cabinets with 2 speakers of 12"; ceramic Celestion Vintage 30 @ 4 Ohms. The original Super Sonic 212 Cabinet is huge and horizontal, with two speakers in parallel, providing a shapeless visual. I strongly suggest the Vibro King VK212B Extension Enclosure Cabinet, because the speakers arranged diagonally leave smaller and lighter box. The width of cabinet is exactly the same width of amplifier, like a Marshall half stack.
You get an impressive look and a lightweight amplifier split into two pieces.
