It don't get no more puristic than this - just the bare necessities, no pickups, wires, knobs... Smaller size was a major buying point for me, when I got it I realized it's also lighter, too - an excellent choice if, like I was, you're looking for a smaller, not-too-loud acoustic that you can play anywhere you like at home. I was also very pleasantly surprised with the dimensions of the neck, it's just about the same as on modern Fender Electrics. Gorgeous tuners, beautiful Sunburst Satin finish, the nut and saddle are a nice "Vintage" (yellowish) white color, the pictures don't really do them justice. The only thing I changed were the bridge bins - originally they are plain white and in my view don't harmonize color-wise with the saddle and the nut, so I got rosewood pins with pearl dots matching the ones on the fretboard :-). I've tried various "small & pure" acoustic guitars from other manufacturers, all are gone except the Fender CP-100 - it's a keeper, I LOVE IT!!!
