I find this is the perfect body size and depth for playing standing up, as I like to do on stage. The strap buttons are solid and well placed and the guitar feels comfortable to reach around and well balanced. The electrics are unbeatable. I've played it through a 10W transistor practice amp and my Blues Junior Mk1 and the sound is as good as anything I've heard. I often use a tremolo pedal and compressor to get a more "produced" sound but even without these it sounds great.
The sound acoustically is a little boxy and small compared to my Martin D14 - but that is a dreadnought with 13thou strings on it and this has 11's (for ultimate playability - I have to take short rock solos on it!) and has a significantly smaller dimension body so this is absolutely to be expected and is in no way a criticism. So that said, played accurately it will produce a very sweet tone that you just don't hear from other guitars in this price range - actually it can sound better than some I've played costing 3 times the price, and compared to other small-bodied guitars is the best I've played in terms of sound and action. I play styles from fingerpicking, through blues to full-on chord thrashing and this guitar is totally up for anything.
I've only had the guitar a short while and it still needs to be played in and set up - that won't happen for a couple of years. Until then I am totally satisfied with my purchase and look forward to it improving over the years.

The features and value I feel are great. It plays well for the cost and the fit/finish is well done. The built in tuner is good to have starting out, and the Fishman pickup does its job. It plays well with or without an amp, and it's nice to have the option to plug into an amp. The few things I don't like about it are moot because if I went with a higher end guitar, I know those things would be better (smoother non coated neck, smoother frets). This is a good guitar to start out with and priced well, I feel.

I own a CD140SCE/BLK since a few months. It play pretty easy especially at the end of the neck, however in the cutaway section it is a bit more difficult to get clear and precise tone, maybe the action could be a bit better there. In the shop there where 2 equal looking of this same model, but the one I bought had much better playability, the action of the other guitar was to high for me. So I recommend you to try a few guitars of the same model, and buy the one which feels the best.
The guitar looks great in black, and is nicely build and finished. The sound has a very nice ring when playing acoustic, and when amplified the Fishman does a good job, and adjustment of volume and tone works properly. The only negative point I could find is the tuning. The guitar is relatively sensitive for temperature and humidity changes, and then may go a bit out of tune. Or is this due to the tuners? Well during playing, I rarely have to retune. The Fishman has a build-in electronic tuner, so in that case it's a sweet problem only. , This is a fantastic instrument, and the price vs quality is in my opinion very very good. Have a look at youtube and forums about this model guitar, they are all very positive!
