I have already put a review but that was just my first impression. After about a month of playing the guitar now, there are three little imperfections I thought I should share if you were thinking about purchasing this instrument, keep in mind that the guitar is still very worth it. First of all I would like to mention the intonation screws in the bridge saddle, I will be replacing them because they are easily twisted. Two of the ones on my guitar went haywire re-switching the pickups. Second thing would have to be the B-Bender buzzing. I find myself being a little disappointed with the buzzing on the string while putting threw the B-Bender contraption. Third is more of a personal problem, but I still think it is worth bringing up. I no longer string my strings with the normal package. I need two sets of strings to meet my requirements the high E and the G string are no longer put to use instead I string my guitar with two D strings and two B strings, reason being because I have found that the G string goes out of tune very easily (not the B string the G string). Same with the high E - it goes out very easily, both of these string problems occur every single time you bend the string. However this guitar is quite incredible all these problems were probably half the guitar and my laziness to fix it. Still a great buy.
I bought this guitar new in 1994. I was a studio session player in Germany then and I needed a guitar that was versatile enough so that I didn't have to take a truckload of instruments. The three pickups and the 5-way switch give me the best sounds of both the Strat and the Tele world. The B-Bender works fine, you only have to check the tuning of the B-string more often...
The guitar is a bit heavy, but that's normal, since the mechanical parts are so solidly built. The tuners are impeccable (Schaller?), only the pots start showing signs of old age.
Playability is good, though the feel of the neck is still a bit sticky, even after 20 years of playing. Setting up the intonation is easier than on most Teles because of the fine 6-saddle bridge.
The only thing I would change is the control plate with a larger distance between the switch and the volume knob.
Look forward to playing this beautiful Tele for the next 20 years...

I bought and then returned because of poor workmanship. Scratches, gooped varnish on frets, screws driven in at angles. Returned and ordered a second time. Same issues, horrible workmanship. Very disappointed.

This is an excellent Telecaster with great sound and playability. I've been playing it for 12+ years and used it on many gigs. The fully adjustable neck, bridge saddles/intonation, and pickups make it easy to set up for your comfort, style & sound. I did initially have a problem with the B string breaking, but was able to fix with some adjustment of the bender. The B puller mechanical parts are very heavy duty and well built. Support and troubleshooting of the B-Bender adjustment was easily available from the Fender website and printable for reference. The range of Strat/Tele tones is a plus. I've owned numerous Strats and Teles over the years...this Tele B-Bender has been my favorite.

This is a fun guitar, especially if you're a fan of Clarence White, who literally wrote the book on b-bending. I've had this guitar for several years, and while I enjoy it, I've struggled a little to get it set up like I like it. I took out the middle PUP, and swapped in a set of Fender CS Nocaster PUPs. As previously stated, it's a little heavy, but a wide strap helps. The bending mechanism works just fine, although there are probably better ways to skin that cat. I suspect that's in part why I've been unable to dial in the set-up like I usually can. All that being said, it's a good guitar, and and excellent introduction to the world of b-bending! If I get another bender, it'll most likely not be another this one - I'd like to have one installed in an existing guitar. Definitely worth checking out - pull out your old Byrds and Marty Stuart LPs, and dive in!

I've owned this guitar for about 5 years and it's everything I've ever wanted in a country lead guitar. I've changed the setup to use medium strings as I tend to squeeze the neck a little to tight. It stays in tune and the B bender mechanisim is easy to adjust. One draw back is the guitar is heavy. A good wide guitar strap helps prevent a soar neck/shoulder. The action is great and easily adjustable. The B Bender is a must for all those hot steel guitar licks and will add another dimension to your playing. If you're looking for a Telecaster and want that Nashville sound, consider the B Bender. You'll be glad you did.

I bought this guitar in 2006. It has became my main guitar, after I had it customized. The only complaint about this guitar is it's hard to not engage the bender while playing. I tried to get a shorter spring with no luck, so I kinda did some hillbilly engineering to make the throw stiffer. I LOVE this guitar.
