FENDER® RELEASES MUSTANG™ MINI AMPLIFIER
New Mustang Mini offers ultimate tone, volume and portability
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Sept. 13, 2011) — Fender introduces the latest and smallest member of the coveted Mustang amplifier line, the brand new Mustang Mini. Ultra-portable and ultra-versatile, the Mustang Mini is the go-anywhere, play-anywhere amplifier.
Taking after its big brothers Mustang I, II, III, IV and V, the Mustang Mini amp packs state-of-the art Fender tone technology into a diminutive yet amazingly versatile amp with a single 6.5” speaker and seven watts of power. Highly compact and lightweight at only 7.25 lbs, the Mustang Mini makes for the perfect traveling companion.
This miniature tone machine is small in appearance, but large in performance. Features include 24 onboard presets built from eight digital amp models and a dozen digital effects, easy computer connectivity, and Fender FUSE™ software for deep editing, patch swapping and access to free artist presets.
Other features include headphone output, auxiliary input, USB port and included USB cable for computer interface and digital recording output, programmable control knobs including gain and treble, “tap” button for setting delay times and modulation rates, “save” button for preserving modified preset settings, built-in tuner, hinged handle that doubles as tilt-back mechanism, distinctive Mustang “carbon-tweed” cosmetics, AC adaptor (included) and battery operation (six C-cell batteries, not included).
The Mustang Mini is available at authorized Fender dealers with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $174.99.
