SQUIER^® SIGNATURE ARTIST EHSAAN NOORANI WINS
PRESTIGIOUS NDTV INDIAN OF THE YEAR AWARD

 

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.  (Oct. 26, 2011) — Squier by Fender^® signature artist Ehsaan Noorani and his composing trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy (SEL) were honored by NDTV this month as ‘Entertainer of the Year (Music)’ at the sixth-annual Indian of the Year Awards.

 

Held Oct. 18 at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi, SEL received the honor for their composition in the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

 

“We have to thank Zoya (director) and Farhan as working with them brings out the best in us,” the group said.

 

The star-studded ceremony was graced by Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Kalki Koechlin, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy, Dev Anand, MS Dhoni, Rahul Dravid, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, S Sreesanth, Ashish Nehra, Virat Kohli, Ashish Nehra, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, R Ashwin, Sunil Gavaskar, Yuvraj Singh, Laloo Prasad Yadav among other celebrities, bureaucrats and eminent personalities.
