Win Costello-Signed Jazzmaster® Guitar!

Win Costello-Signed Fender Jazzmaster® Guitar!

Costello, circa 1977: His aim is still true.

Check this out—this is so cool: In honor of the May 1 digital download debut of Elvis Costello’s first 11 albums, the release of two brand-new E.C. collections and his May 2007 U.S. tour with backing band the Impostors—(big breath right here)—the cats at Universal Music Enterprises are running a sweepstakes in which the grand prize is a Fender Jazzmaster® guitar autographed by Costello!

Told you it was cool! Costello fans know the man has swaggered and staggered his way through impeccable pop gem after impeccable pop gem for years whilst brandishing his trusty Jazzmaster, so this is an opportunity not to be missed!

First prize is a Fender resonator guitar, and three second-prize winners will feast their ears on Costello’s complete catalog of music from 1977-1986, which, of course, includes those brilliant, incendiary albums with the Attractions.

May 1 will mark the very first time Costello’s extraordinary first 11 albums will be available from Universal Music for digital downloads and mobile tones. We’re talking legendary albums including My Aim Is True, This Year’s Model, Armed Forces, Get Happy!!, Trust, Almost Blue, Imperial Bedroom, Punch the Clock, Goodbye Cruel World, King of America and Blood & Chocolate. All 11 albums will be available for download exclusively on the iTunes Music Store (www.itunes.com) for 30 days before they are made available to all the online partners. The albums will also be released in their original versions as digipaks with booklets and obie sleeves.

Universal’s two new compilations, also scheduled for May 1 release, are The Best of Elvis Costello: The First 10 Years and Rock and Roll Music, a collection of hits, key album tracks, b-sides and previously unreleased rarities. Both 22-song collections were compiled by Costello and herald the start of Universal’s work with his catalog.

We know you want that Jazzmaster, so sign up for Universal Music’s Elvis Costello sweepstakes right here!
