The Maine began writing their latest album, Pioneer, in the winter of 2010, even though there was debate as to whether the music would ever see the light of day.
Eventually, it did, as Pioneer was released in late 2011.
The band filmed the process, and it’s been compiled in an upcoming documentary titled Anthem for a Dying Breed.
The project includes the full feature of the making of Pioneer, a 17-song live concert from Sao Paolo, Brazil, and music videos of “Misery” and “Like We Did (Windows Down).”
In addition, fans can get a free digital download of the Good Love EP, which features several Pioneer B-sides.
