Watch Thurston Moore's New Video for "Circulation"

Thurston Moore has a new video for Demolished Thoughts track “Circulation,” and its a trip. Directed by visual artist Rose Mackey, Moore says the video was “inspired by the free-spirit poet/artist girls of Northampton Massachusetts who would explode and levitate into expressionistic transcendence whenever cool records would spin…”

The psychedelic clip features young ladies dancing madly while Moore calmly strums his acoustic. Cool video, but IMO, they’re having way too much of a good time for a song about menstruation.

“Circulation is about menstrual cycles, menstruation blood, and the year 2012 when the Goddess of Destruction, the Goddess of Creation and the Goddess of Nurturing all come together and rise as Isis to bring the Earth to a new Matriarchy,” Moore has said of the song. “We’ll of course be in bed, drinking wine, smoking cigarettes and playing scratchy jazz records on a turntable on the nightstand.”
