Baseball recently collided with music when Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Bronson Arroyo, infielder Aaron Hill and outfielder Mark Trumbo paid a visit to Fender’s headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Each player is an avid musician, so they were excited to see the memorabilia and some of the products being developed around the facility.
“I love coming to places where they’re actually inventing things,” Arroyo said. ”You can just tell that they’re having a good time here. It’s just fun to come in and see the creativity.”
In addition, the guys told a few stories of meeting some of their musical idols, like Rush’s Geddy Lee and members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
