Last night, Swedish guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen jammed with house band the Roots on a variety of material on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show.
Malmsteen’s latest album Relentless, which dropped on Nov. 22, contains more than 60 minutes of brand new material and features vocals from Tim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth).
Malmsteen coined the album name after his own musical passion and pursuit of excellence.
“The album title really says it all,” said Malmsteen. “The drive to surpass my own accomplishments can best be described with one word — relentless. After all these years of composing and playing music, I still am passionate about pushing myself to the limit — to the highest, most demanding level of playing possible.”
