To celebrate the impending release of their sophomore album Supermodel (March 18), Foster the People commissioned a giant mural of the album cover on the side of a building in downtown Los Angeles.
And they made sure lots of fans took notice with a free concert in front of the art installment, which was painted by a Dutch artist known as Young & Sick. The eye-catching mural is at 539 S. Los Angeles Street, and the band even posted a time-lapse video of the 10-day period it took to reach the final product.
For those that missed the free show, Vevo has a clip of Foster the People playing the new song “Pseudologia Fantastica” at the site, and you can watch it below. Visit Foster the People’s official Facebook page for a list of upcoming tour dates.
