Back in 1982, Bruce Springsteen wrote a track called “Wages of Sin” during the storied Born in the U.S.A. sessions, but it didn’t see the light of day until 1998′s Tracks box set.
Last week during a show in Turku, Finland, Springsteen and his E Street Band played “Wages of Sin” live for the first time ever, marking a highlight to his high-paced 27-song setlist.
“The Boss” was goaded to bring out the rarity by a dedicated fan who has been to countless Springsteen shows. The Belgian fan held up a sign requesting “Wages of Sin,” and Springsteen acquiesced.
Luckily for those who weren’t in attendance, excellent fan-shot video was shot of the performance, which can be seen below.
