Vintage Guitar’s November issue features a concise review of the Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster.
The magazine calls the limited edition model a “fitting tribute,” and says it “takes the spirit of the original and combines it with modern upgrades.”
It also says it completely embodies the essence of a Telecaster.
“Plugged in, this guitar is all Telecaster,” says Vintage Guitar. “The slight twang and articulation, along with the tried-and-true snap, were present and accounted-for.”
The magazine concludes by praising the instrument as a good value for the buck.
“In all, this is an impressive offering at a modest price point,” wraps up Vintage Guitar. “Playability is first-rate and the construction compares with most custom-shop equivalents.”
