U.S. Royalty Covers Marvin Gaye for ONE Campaign

ONE, the campaigning and advocacy organization founded by U2′s Bono, is giving performers the opportunity join the fight against extreme poverty by capturing the spirit of the protest song, and Washington D.C.’s U.S. Royalty has joined the cause.

The quartet picked Marvin Gaye’s 1971 classic “What’s Going On,” which they played on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Other artists joining the cause have been Bruce Springsteen, Usher, Green Day, Biffy Clyro, Ed Sheeran and Kid Rock, to name a few.
