Rancid’s Tim Armstrong has been busy. Through his latest project, Tim Timebomb and Friends, Armstrong has been releasing a new song each day that he recorded with a rotating cast of artists and friends.
One of those recent is “That’s Just the Way It Is Now,” which features Rancid bandmates Matt Freeman and Lars Frederiksen, in addition to Ryan Foltz and Ben Lythberg.
“This song was inspired by the 1962 Vincent Price movie, The Last Man On Earth,” he wrote on his YouTube channel. ”Originally, I recorded this song in Spain, and a version ended up on the Rancid record, Let The Dominoes Fall.”
