Dhani Harrison spent much of the last year and a half recording and touring with side band Fistful of Mercy, but is now reemerging with his band, thenewno2, to release a new four-song EP on Sept. 27.
The LA Times is now streaming one of EP002′s tracks, “Mr. President.” The electronic-enhanced cut segues into hip-hop territory with rap verses by Grammy-award winning RZA and his pals Crisis and Sir Eyes. EP002 will also feature guest Regina Spektor on “Live a Lie.”
Thenewno2 is currently recording the follow-up to 2008′s You Are Here, and intends to have a full album ready for a 2012 release.
