The Killers Release Annual Holiday Tune for Charity

Although the Killers are currently on hiatus as frontman Brandon Flowers tours behind his solo effort, the Las Vegas rockers reconvened to keep up with their holiday tradition of releasing a holiday tune for charity. Earlier this week, the band released their fifth annual holiday single, “Boots.”

Proceeds from the song will benefit (RED) and help fight AIDS in Africa. For each view of the video below, Starbucks will contribute five cents to the Global Fund to help fight AIDS in Africa. Purchase the single from iTunes here.

Directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite), the video begins with footage of Jimmy Stewart from 1946’s holiday classic It’s A Wonderful Life. Watch below and then please share the video so that you can help give a wonderful life to others.
