The Fender Music Foundation Partners With ReverbNation For Online Benefit Concert

The Fender Music Foundation will host its first online benefit concert, “Save Music Education,” on Stageit on April 26, between 6 and 8 p.m. PST, in partnership with ReverbNation. Signed and unsigned musicians are invited to participate by coordinating their own online benefit concert.

“Helping artists succeed in making and sharing great music is the core of everything we do,” said ReverbNation president and co-founder Jed Carlson. “It just makes sense that we extend that support and enthusiasm into the world of music education. That’s why we’re thrilled to be working with The Fender Music Foundation on this effort. The future of music depends on nurturing the creativity and talent of our youth.”

Proceeds will benefit The Fender Music Foundation, whose ongoing mission is to provide musical instruments to music programs in need across the United States. The event is open to signed and unsigned artists, who will receive exposure and prizes from brands like Heineken. Artists who have previously participated in virtual concerts on Stageit include Jason Mraz, Trey Songz, Jimmy Buffett, Indigo Girls, Butch Walker, KORN and Plain White T’s.
