Thannie Team Up for #GetNaked Campaign to Raise Awareness for Melanoma

Fender artists Annie Clements and Thad Beaty are hoping to raise funds and awareness for the Melanoma Research Foundation though the organization’s #GetNaked campaign, designed to encourage everyone to check themselves and their loved ones for signs of melanoma.

So following a recent gig with Amos Lee at Colorado’s famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the pair recently stripped down — well covered in SPF — with an added layer of “protection” from their Fender instruments.

The cause is close to the hearts of the husband and wife, collectively known as Thannie, as Beaty lost one of his Ironman teammates last year to melanoma cancer.

You can contribute to the cause here.

Also, stay tuned to the Fender blog for details about an upcoming benefit concert in Nashville.
