Street Drum Corps Wrap up Roxy Residency


Punk rock percussion band Street Drum Corps will wrap up their residency at Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre on Tuesday night (Dec. 7).

Street Drum Corps (Bobby Alt of S.T.U.N. and Faculty X, brother Adam of Circus Minor and Frank Zummo of theStart) will be joined by special guests Atom Willard (Angels & Airwaves), Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails), Jack Irons (Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers), John Feldmann (Goldfinger), Jeff Friedl (Ashes Divide, Puscifer), DJ Aero (Methods of Mayhem), singer Zoe Bonham and rapper Def Jef as they play selections from their three instrumental albums Big Noise (2010),We Are Machines (2008), 2006′s eponymous album and unreleased tracks from their forthcoming 2011 effort.

Also, to usher in the holiday season on a high note, Street Drum Corps’ friends Bert McCracken and Jeph Howard from The Used will also join the band onstage to re-create their joint cover of John Lennon classic “Happy Xmas (War Is Over),” which they recorded together in 2005.
