The stars of country music were definitely out last weekend at the American Country Awards in Las Vegas.
Broadcast live on FOX from the Mandalay Bay Events Center, the awards show featured performances from host Trace Adkins, Sheryl Crow, Florida Georgia Line, Randy Houser, Justin Moore, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and many more.
Florida Georgia Line took home the most awards of the evening, nabbing six, including Artist of the Year, New Artist and Single of the Year for “Cruise.”
Blake Shelton followed with four awards, while Luke Bryan’s three pushed his lifetime total of American Country Awards to 12 – the most awards for a male solo artist ever.
Carrie Underwood also scored one honor, which lifted her lifetime mark to 11 American Country Awards.
In addition, Paisley received the Video Visionary Award, which recognizes his innovative contributions to the format, while Taylor Swift was bestowed with the first-ever Worldwide Artist Award, which paid tribute to her global reach.
One of the perks of winning an ACA is that it is actually a Fender Telecaster. Paisley noted that it was the “absolute coolest trophy of any awards show.”
