Springsteen, Dylan, U2 Donate Songs for Benefit Album

Nearly 40 artists have contributed tracks to Songs for Japan, a new compilation album that will benefit victims of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami. Songs for Japan features hits from artists such as U2, John Lennon, Eminem, Bob Dylan, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Bruce Springsteen, Kieth Urban, Foo Fighters and dozens more.

All of the artists, music publishers, and labels involved have waived any royalties for these songs, and iTunes will donate its proceeds from all album sales worldwide to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
