Shelton Wins Big at CMAs; Night Capped with Willie Nelson All-Star Jam

Blake Shelton was last night’s big winner at the Country Music Awards Show, taking home his third straight win for male vocalist of the year, song of the year with wife Miranda Lambert and the evening’s coveted entertainer of the year award.

The Voice star also took part in one the night’s highlights, a tribute to country icon Willie Nelson. Lady Antebellum kicked things off with “You Were Always on My Mind” and a few bars of “Crazy,” and then handed things off to Shelton and Keith Urban for “Whiskey River.” Country’s power couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw next teamed for “Good-Hearted Woman.” Then, as the whole group gathered on the main stage for “On the Road Again,” the legend himself strapped on his beat-up acoustic to finish off the number. Making the all-star jam even more touching was seeing Urban rocking the guitar of Nelson’s late friend and oft-collaborator, Waylon Jennings.

Vince Gill and Kelly Clarkson also churned out one of the evening’s most memorable performances with their newly released duet, “Don’t Rush.”
