With a tour getting ready to kick off and an album – Tramp - ready to drop (Feb. 7), Sharon Van Etten recently stopped by New York City’s Mercury Lounge for a tune up before she hits the road.
According to Spin, the energy at the Jan. 18 show was high, even if Van Etten’s ethereal vocals resonated throughout the club.
Van Etten broke out several instruments, as well, playing a Fender Jaguar, a ukulele and even an Omnichord, which looks like a robotic autoharp.
Below, you can watch performances of “We Are Fine,” “I’m Wrong” and “A Joke Or A Lie:”
Van Etten begins her worldwide headlining tour on Feb. 10 in Philadelphia.
